ALBANY, GA – Friday and Saturday were filled with tons of competition at Albany State's West campus to kick off the 11th annual all-star weekend event. The event featured a 'Stop the Violence' community basketball game, a dunk contest, and a juniors and seniors all-star game for south Georgia's boys and girls basketball teams. Ran by ASU's SID Earnest Brown, the 11th annual event saw Crisp County's Mikaylen Holmes take home MVP from the seniors all-star girls game, Spencer's TJ Cochran winning the dunk contest, and Bakari Bryant's -Dougherty High head basketball coach – team winning the senior all-star boys game.
